Publication Ethics
Deep Science Publishing follows COPE, the Committee on Publication Ethics guidelines regarding best practices. Deep Science Publishing publishes exceptional peer-reviewed scholarly content in Business, Management, Education, Medicine, Computer Science, and more. Deep Science Publishing believes that sound publication ethics are pivotal in the advancement of scientific knowledge. Thus, Deep Science Publishing follows high ethical standards with all the publications, in line with standard scientific principles and its commitment to being a source of genuine scientific knowledge.
Editorial Ethics
At Deep Science Publishing, ensuring research quality is our top priority. We prohibit discrimination in editorial decisions and strive to work with a wide variety of editors and authors. All authors are required to declare any conflicts of interest, whether academic or financial when participating in book publications. We will not tolerate any abuse, libel, or censorship of our work. For concerns regarding our editorial processes, you can contact us at editor@deepscienceresearch.com.
Editorial Review
Book submissions are initially reviewed by an Editor, who either sent out for peer review or desk-rejected. Our Editors ensure that the review process is impartial and maintains a high standard of quality. Editors sign contracts that describe their role of guiding the entire process, including performing a peer-review and keeping confidentiality over submitted manuscripts.
Authorship and Contributions
Deep Science Publishing operates under the presumption that the listed authors have granted their consent for the publication of the content and each of them specifically authorized its submission. It is also assumed that any institutional permission has been granted prior to submission.
We recommend the following basic guidelines for authorship:
Substantial contributions to the acquisition of data, or to the analysis and interpretation of the work.
Being accountable for the whole work and its quality.
Critical review for important intellectual content, including drafting or revising the book.
Providing final approval for publication.
Author’s Warranty and Copyright Transfer
The corresponding author must sign an Author’s Warranty confirmation about the novelty of their work and not previously published anywhere else. This agreement also transfers your copyright to Deep Science Publishing. When a paper has multiple authors, all of the author signatures are required unless the corresponding author is authorized to sign on behalf of the co-authors. Authors should disclose any conflict of interest to the publisher.
Archiving, Access, and Discoverability of Books
All authored books, edited volumes, textbooks, book chapters, thesis, dissertation, monographs, and book reviews published in Deep Science Publishing are assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) through CrossRef to ensure discoverability. All authors hold the copyright and can post their content on personal pages, as well as open depositories. All Deep Science Publishing are published under a gold open access and archived digitally by Open Monograph Press (OMP).
Conflicts of Interest/Competing Interests
There is a conflict of interest if personal interests affect professional responsibility, and this could compromise the credibility of research. At submission, editors, reviewers and authors must declare any conflicting interests. Competing interests may come from financial sources, employment, or non-financial. If any party identifies a potential conflict, they should report it as soon as possible to the Editor.
