Synopsis

Despite regulators requiring data governance and information integrity for Critical Infrastructure Systems including Transport Networks and Utilities, few jurisdictions make the links explicit and even fewer have complete regulation. Yet, without the foundational data quality components properly managed, regulators should question the value of conducting cyclic audits and probes. Addressing the concepts of Data Governance and Information Integrity as they apply to Critical Infrastructure provides a framework for understanding the sources of these shortcomings.
